Prelint is one of the clearer attempts to solve a real gap created by AI coding agents: technically plausible code that quietly contradicts product specs, ADRs or business rules. Its GitHub/GitLab-centric review pipeline, second-pass finding validation, repo-context model, CLI/MCP direction and unusually detailed security documentation make it more substantive than a generic AI PR bot, and the current $1-per-completed-review pricing is easy to model. But the product is still very young, independent exact-product evidence is limited to a tiny Product Hunt sample, its strongest accuracy/adoption claims are first-party, SOC 2 Type I is still in progress, and the July 2026 Terms materially conflict with the live prepaid per-review pricing model.
