OpenAI rolled out support for connecting multiple Google accounts to ChatGPT on August 28, 2026. The change applies to Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Contacts on supported Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans across web, desktop, iOS and Android. The practical change is larger than an extra account slot: a single conversation can now search multiple inboxes or consider work and personal calendars together. For users who previously had to switch account contexts, that removes a recurring workflow break. It also makes account provenance more important: when several inboxes or calendars are available in the same conversation, users and organizations should be explicit about which account a read or action belongs to. OpenAI’s release note does not include Google Drive in this rollout, so AiToolMap treats the update as specific to Gmail, Calendar and Contacts rather than a blanket multi-account feature for every Google connector.
