Dropbox announced on September 24, 2026, two integrations with SpaceXAI that connect project files and history stored in Dropbox to AI-assisted workflows: Dropbox in the Cursor Marketplace and the Dropbox MCP for Grok Bot.

According to Dropbox, the integrations are designed to give AI tools access to broader project context—briefs, research, meeting notes, decisions, and prior feedback—rather than only the most recently edited file. The company frames this as addressing a gap where AI-assisted work can lose track of earlier tradeoffs, rejected messaging, or change orders that live in stored project documents.

The Cursor Marketplace integration includes 19 tools and six workflow-based skills, per Dropbox. It targets technical teams: developers can reference requirements and technical-review notes while implementing features, and product managers can draw on briefs and customer research when drafting specifications. New documentation or decision logs can be saved back to Dropbox.

The Dropbox MCP for Grok Bot lets users assign a role and goal to the bot while it pulls relevant project history from Dropbox as the task unfolds. Dropbox cites use cases such as a marketing lead developing a campaign plan from approved messaging and prior research, or a construction lead assembling an owner briefing from specifications and change documentation. Results can be saved back to Dropbox for review and sharing.

Availability, as stated by Dropbox: the Cursor Marketplace integration is available to individuals and on-rg
