Extreme Networks made Agent ONE Coworker generally available on September 9 to customers of its Platform ONE networking environment. The release turns the company’s AI assistant into a broadly available part of the platform rather than a limited or staged rollout.

Agent ONE Coworker is designed to use network-specific context instead of answering only generic support questions. Its Nudge capability continuously examines historical performance, current traffic and behavioural patterns to surface potential problems before an operator asks. Other skills cover radio-resource management, dashboards, knowledge access, data queries and support escalation.

The assistant also presents the reasoning behind recommendations so network teams can inspect the basis for a proposed action. Extreme says the system can shorten some troubleshooting and onboarding tasks substantially, but those performance figures are vendor-reported and should not be read as independent benchmarks.

The September release is significant because the product is now included for Platform ONE customers worldwide and combines reactive assistance with proactive monitoring. Independent coverage on September 9 also reported the general-availability transition and the new proactive workflow, corroborating the release milestone without independently validating Extreme’s efficiency claims.
