GitHub has made its Copilot code review feature generally available, introducing a refreshed overview comment that shows the tool’s current assessment, review effort level and a summary of findings grouped as Open, Resolved since last review, and Previously missed. Each finding now includes severity and a link to the inline comment, and every review comment carries a concise title. Auto‑resolution has been improved: Copilot can now resolve its own comments based on subsequent commits, honour replies that keep issues open, and assign a resolution reason of “Won’t Fix” or “Incorrect”. When a batch of eligible suggestions is accepted, Copilot automatically generates a relevant commit title and optional description, even when the batch includes non‑Copilot comments. These updates aim to help developers focus on unresolved issues and produce clearer commit messages.
