Gloo has launched Gloo Code, an agentic coding product inside Gloo AI Studio that uses different underlying models for different software-development tasks.
The product includes agents for planning, exploration, building, security, QA and testing. Gloo says a routing layer selects the model for each step, reserving more capable frontier models for harder work and using cheaper models where that is sufficient.
That makes model selection part of the product rather than a choice the developer must make manually for every task. Gloo also positions predictable spend and privacy as part of the offering.
The company has published preliminary Terminal-Bench 2.1 results showing competitive performance at lower cost, but those figures come from Gloo’s own testing. The launch itself is concrete; the performance advantage still needs independent reproduction.
