Google AI Educator Series adds pathways to earn college credits

Google’s AI Educator Series, a set of 15‑minute training sessions for educators, now includes options for participants to earn fully accredited college credits. Through a partnership with College Unbound, participants can obtain undergraduate credits at no cost, which can count toward a bachelor’s degree or be converted into continuing education units. In collaboration with ISTE and Dominican University, the series also offers graduate‑level credits. Additionally, educators and administrators in Illinois can earn continuing‑education hours toward license renewal via the Illinois Digital Educators Alliance. The new credit pathways are being introduced with a “Badge‑a‑thon” event on September 19, 2026, where participants can join a 12‑hour webinar to earn ISTE‑aligned digital badges and begin the credit‑earning process.
