Rokid announced the global launch of AIUI Studio at IFA Berlin on September 9. The browser-based development environment is designed for creating and publishing spatial AI applications for Rokid’s smart glasses without requiring developers to begin with a physical device.

AIUI Studio combines the company’s AIUI Skills Library framework, AI-assisted coding and a hardware simulator. Developers can describe an application concept in natural language, build the project in the browser and test early behavior in simulation before moving to on-device validation.

Independent coverage from Android Central corroborated the global rollout and the browser-based simulator. Rokid says its ecosystem has more than 35,000 registered developers and more than 500 agents in its Agent Store; those ecosystem figures are vendor-reported and are not treated as independently audited adoption metrics.

For AiToolMap, the material change is the reduction in hardware and coding prerequisites for building on Rokid’s glasses platform. AIUI Studio turns the company’s developer tooling into a more integrated agent-creation workflow, but simulation does not eliminate the need to validate latency, power use, sensors, permissions and connectivity on physical glasses before production deployment.
