Salesforce expanded Agentforce on September 11 with seven named, role-specific agents for customer service, employee support, commerce, sales, supply chain and customer experience. Casey, Paige, Carter, Marshall, Piper and Fin are generally available now; Hunter, the outbound-sales agent, is in pilot with general availability targeted for November 2026.
The technically important addition is a long-horizon runtime. Salesforce says Hunter can keep an objective active across days or weeks using persistent memory, durable execution and dynamic steering, rather than treating each conversation as a self-contained task. Hunter is the first agent on this runtime, with additional agents and customer-built long-horizon agents planned later.
Salesforce also made Multi-Agent Orchestration generally available, allowing specialized agents to coordinate across roles and systems. AI Skills for Agentforce Coworker and Agent Optimizer are scheduled for October 2026 general availability. Those future dates should be treated as announced targets rather than currently shipped capabilities.
Salesforce published several customer outcome figures alongside the release, including resolution and pipeline metrics. AiToolMap treats those figures as vendor/customer-reported evidence, not independently reproduced performance benchmarks. Independent analyst coverage confirms the September 11 portfolio launch and the availability split, but does not independently validate the vendor outcome metrics.
For buyers, this is more than a packaging refresh: Salesforce is moving Agentforce toward preconfigured job roles plus orchestration and stateful execution over longer time horizons. The immediate distinction is availability—most named agents and Multi-Agent Orchestration are shipping now, while Hunter remains in pilot and several optimization features are still scheduled for later releases.
