Salesforce introduced AIforce at Dreamforce on September 16 as an interface layer for accessing CRM data, business logic and workflows from the applications where people already work. The launch groups Claudeforce, Slackforce and Agentforce Coworker under that approach.

Salesforce in Claude uses a prebuilt MCP server and includes 37 sales skills; the announcement describes it as available to customers in beta. Slackforce brings live CRM context and actions into Slack, while Coworker operates within Salesforce's Lightning interface. Developers can extend the approach through the Headless Toolkit's APIs, MCPs, plugins and skills.

Salesforce says requests retain existing permissions and business rules, and that model providers do not retain business data used to answer them. These are vendor architecture claims, not a security certification by AiToolMap. For administrators, the key evaluation is which actions a connected assistant can perform under a user's permissions. Availability, packaging and contractual terms vary, so a beta integration should not be treated as identical to a generally available feature.
