Agentic AI assistant for financial advisors that automates meeting preparation, CRM synchronization, follow-up emails, data entry, forms and client deliverables.
Focal AI is an agentic workflow assistant built specifically for financial advisors. It prepares meetings from calendar/CRM history, captures notes, drafts follow-up emails, syncs tasks and summaries to CRMs, automates data entry and form filling, and creates client deliverables.1 The product also includes a Conquest overlay and performance coaching rather than functioning only as a meeting recorder.1
The integration surface is a major part of the product: current first-party material lists Salesforce, Zoho, Equisoft, Cloven, Redtail, Wealthbox, Outlook and Gmail around meeting workflows, plus Zoom, Teams and Google Meet for meetings.1 Equisoft independently confirms a live Focal integration that pushes structured meeting summaries/tasks into Equisoft/connect and can pull client/calendar data for pre-meeting briefs.2
Pricing & access
Focal publishes a 14-day free trial and a Pro plan at $100 per month when billed annually. Pro includes unlimited meetings, supported CRM integrations, the Conquest overlay, performance coaching and support.3 Enterprise pricing is custom and adds agentic data-entry/onboarding workflows, form filling, custom automations, integrations/APIs, enterprise administration and implementation.3
This is materially more transparent than quote-only advisor AI products, although the advertised hours-saved and ROI figures remain vendor marketing rather than independently measured outcomes.
Evidence & trust
Focal states that it is built on Microsoft Azure, uses Canadian data residency, stores no meeting audio/video, does not train AI models on client conversations and is SOC 2 Type II certified.1 Equisoft's integration page repeats the SOC 2/Azure/stateless architecture claims, providing useful exact-product corroboration but not an independent security audit.2
Independent product-performance evidence is still sparse. Wealth Professional independently reports Focal's CRM expansion across Equisoft, Maximizer and Cloven and describes the advisor workflow problem the product addresses, but its time-savings figures are attributed to Focal.4 The canonical 50-source panel produced no eligible exact-product numeric quality observation. No hands-on reliability or output-accuracy test is claimed here.
Who it's for
Focal is best for advisors and RIA/wealth-management teams whose administrative load spans meetings, CRM updates, planning software, email and forms. It is especially attractive for firms already using Equisoft/connect, Salesforce, Zoho, Redtail, Wealthbox or Conquest because the product is designed to move information between those workflows rather than leave output in a standalone note app.12
It is less compelling for very small practices that only need transcription, buyers that require extensive independent benchmarking before deployment, or organizations whose data-residency/compliance requirements do not fit the current Azure/Canadian architecture.
Strengths & weaknesses
Strengths
transparent Pro pricing; 14-day trial; advisor-specific workflow depth; broad CRM/email/meeting integrations; form/data-entry automation; planning-software overlay; no-audio/video-storage and no-model-training commitments; Canadian data residency; and a corroborated Equisoft integration.132
Weaknesses
independent exact-product review and verified-user evidence remain thin; productivity and ROI metrics are largely vendor claims; Enterprise pricing is custom; and the security/compliance claims, while specific, were not independently audited by AiToolMap.
