Physical-AI yard platform for gate automation, asset tracking, dock coordination, digital twins and operational visibility.
KoiVision Yard Intelligence Suite is KoiReader Technologies’ newly generally available physical-AI platform for gate, yard and dock operations. KoiReader describes nine connected components covering driver/gate workflows, kiosk document capture, vision-based gate and trailer inspection, yard asset tracking, TMS/YMS/ERP connectivity, LiDAR-based digital twins, agentic yard-mule orchestration and natural-language yard analysis 12. The launch material says the suite is already deployed across multiple production facilities covering more than seven million square feet and roughly 3,000 trailer/container positions; AiToolMap treats those scale figures as vendor-reported because named customer-level verification for this exact suite is not public 1.
Integration breadth is a major strength. KoiReader says KoiConnect synchronizes TMS, YMS and ERP data across appointments, moves and settlement workflows, while telematics integration can consume GPS, OBD-II and ELD signals through aggregation platforms spanning more than 100 vendors 1. The broader KoiVision site also lists REST APIs and integrations with WMS, MES, ERP, YMS, TOS and TMS environments 2. The caveat is implementation complexity: this is a physical deployment with cameras/edge hardware, site mapping and enterprise-system integration, not a plug-and-play SaaS application.
Public self-serve pricing was not found. KoiReader positions the product as enterprise infrastructure and says its ruggedized edge hardware is offered through a Hardware-as-a-Service model 1. Buyers should therefore expect a sales-led deployment whose economics depend on site size, camera/edge-hardware footprint, integrations and operating requirements. AiToolMap does not infer a price range without evidence.
The strongest independent evidence concerns KoiReader’s underlying technical lineage rather than the complete September 2026 suite. NVIDIA documented KoiVision machine-vision technology running in a PepsiCo distribution center in 2023 and described the platform as cloud-native, providing credible evidence that KoiReader has operated enterprise computer-vision workloads in production 3. Separately, the USPTO confirms a KoiReader patent covering neural-network-assisted inventory monitoring in a warehouse or yard, while patent records also show a granted yard-mapping and asset-tracking system 45. These sources support technical maturity but do not independently validate the launch release’s current accuracy, savings or Fortune-50-scale claims.
This product can influence physical logistics workflows, identity/gate processes and compliance records, so error handling matters more than for ordinary analytics software. KoiReader’s current materials describe driver-license scanning, face recognition, telematics inputs, automated trailer inspections and gate decisions 12. Deployments should therefore retain human override for denied or ambiguous gate events, document fallback procedures for vision failures, define retention/access rules for identity and vehicle telemetry, and validate site-specific error rates before automating consequential actions. AiToolMap found no public evidence sufficient to claim a specific security certification or quantified false-positive/false-negative rate for the exact suite.
The clearest fit is high-throughput automotive, CPG, manufacturing, retail, intermodal, port and logistics operations where manual gate processing, trailer location and dock coordination create measurable delays 1. Smaller sites with modest yard complexity may struggle to justify the integration and hardware burden, especially while public pricing remains unavailable.
The strongest attribute is task coverage: the platform attempts to unify identity/check-in, document capture, asset tracking, digital twins, orchestration and enterprise-system synchronization instead of adding another isolated yard point solution 12. KoiReader also has independent evidence of prior KoiVision production use and granted relevant patents 345. The main weakness is evidence asymmetry. The exact suite is only days old, most impressive operational metrics are vendor assertions, there are no eligible external user ratings, and the canonical review panel yielded no strong exact-product review coverage. The rating is therefore desk-only with LOW confidence.
