Soloop review

Updated 2026-08-28

Product & capabilities

Soloop is an approval-first workbench for solo founders. Its current product manual says a founder starts with an idea, URL, repository, deck, file or existing product; the Plan/CEO layer proposes one next move, shows the exact action card and credit cost, and waits for approval before execution.1

The live product is more specific than the broader “AI CEO/CTO/CMO” marketing language. Soloop currently identifies four working agents: Plan, Analyst, Social and Coding. Analyst runs approved market/competitor/prospect research; Social can draft, publish and monitor approved Twitter/X work; Coding runs approved jobs in an isolated sandbox and can prepare checked changes or Vercel deployments. The Plan agent coordinates but does not itself execute external actions.12

Channel maturity matters. X/Twitter is live with OAuth. Cold email is beta and requires Gmail. Reddit content can be prepared but public posting remains manual. Ads are plan-only: Soloop does not currently buy or manage ads. This distinction keeps roadmap ambition separate from the surface a buyer can use today.1

The approval model is the core design choice. Research, public posts, emails, code changes and deployments go through action cards; the user can approve, request changes or cancel. Product Hunt discussion shows the team actively thinking about approval fatigue through risk-tiering, diff-only approvals and batching, while acknowledging that the design problem is not fully solved.3

Pricing & access

Soloop has four public tiers. Free includes 15 credits/month and core planning/chat. Builder is $39/month for 200 credits with research, coding and growth workflows. Operator is $99/month for 600 credits and adds recurring operating runs, monitoring and an approval queue. Team starts at $199/month for 1,500 credits and can scale to higher monthly capacities. Annual billing discounts twelve months by 15%.4

Credits fund planning, research, coding and growth work and refresh monthly. Soloop does not publish a universal dollar-per-task conversion on the pricing page, so users should learn actual credit burn from their workflows rather than infer value only from plan prices.4

Evidence & trust

Soloop is unusually explicit about current boundaries. Its contact page says directly that today it plans work, runs research, handles X/Twitter and changes code after approval; Reddit, ads and full auto-run are not all live. Its terms call the workspace beta and explicitly disclaim guarantees around users, revenue, funding, product-market fit, uptime or deployment success.25

The privacy policy is also concrete: Soloop says workspace content is not used to train a general Soloop model, connected-account tokens are controlled/encrypted, and actions that publish, deploy, spend credits, use accounts or change code remain behind product controls.6

External validation is still sparse. Product Hunt shows strong launch interest—#2 Product of the Day in August 2026 and roughly 478 upvotes—but currently shows no user reviews.3 G2 has an exact Soloop product profile but zero reviews and explicitly says there is not enough review data for buying insight. The G2 page also contains a contradictory legacy “About” description referring to video editing, so it is useful only as evidence of an exact listing with no review corpus, not as product-description evidence.7

A niche independent review from Pidune scores Soloop 3.5/5 and reports useful strategic analysis and competitor research alongside rough edges such as cryptic errors, limited documentation and generic marketing outputs that need manual override.8 This is one editorial assessment, not a broad benchmark, but it reinforces the need to test execution quality directly.

Across the rest of the reviewed source set, no substantial exact-product corpus was found; several publisher surfaces were inaccessible. Missing evidence is not treated as negative evidence.

Who it's for

Soloop fits a founder who already has something concrete—a repo, demo, deck, landing page or early product—and wants one system to keep product context, propose next moves and run bounded research/coding/growth tasks after approval. It is especially attractive to users who prefer inspectability over maximum autonomy.

It is less suitable for founders expecting a truly autonomous sales/marketing department today, teams needing mature multi-user governance, or organizations that require a long reliability record. Approval-first design can also become an attention bottleneck if too many low-risk actions require review.

Strengths & weaknesses

Strengths

  • Clear approval-first execution model with inspectable action cards.1
  • Current documentation distinguishes live, beta, manual and plan-only channels.1
  • Research and coding execution are concretely documented, including sandboxed code work.1
  • Transparent public pricing with a usable free tier.4
  • Privacy/terms documentation states meaningful product boundaries and data-use rules.65

Weaknesses

  • Product is still beta and several ambitious channels are not fully executable today.1
  • Product Hunt has no user reviews and G2 has zero reviews.37
  • Independent hands-on/editorial evidence is extremely limited.
  • Approval queues can create attention overhead; even launch discussion identifies this as a core design challenge.3
  • G2 metadata contains a conflicting legacy product description, requiring careful surface matching.7
