Zinley review

Updated 2026-08-28

Product & capabilities

Zinley is designed around one persistent agent and memory across surfaces. Users can reach it through web, desktop, iMessage, Telegram, email and voice, while other people can reach it through its own phone number/email. The agent tracks people, topics, commitments and unfinished work across sessions rather than restarting from a blank context.

The key product concept is representation with boundaries. Zinley is expected to identify itself as AI, act only with approved access and bring protected decisions back to the owner. Examples include booking within a spending limit, handling routine follow-up, screening calls or candidates and escalating quotes or commitments that exceed policy.

Security controls are more concrete than generic “human in the loop” language. Zinley documents a separate Secret verification gate for sensitive actions such as moving money, deleting files or changing system settings. The Secret is stored as a salted hash rather than plaintext. The company also says memory is encrypted and not sold or used to train models.

Pricing & access

Free is $0/month with 2,000 monthly credits plus 10 daily credits, email/identity, broad messaging surfaces, web search, integrations, three scheduled tasks and a first phone number with one simultaneous call up to 15 minutes. Plus is $20/month with 4,000+ monthly credits, an always-on Zinley Computer, advanced search, stronger models, cross-device work and five simultaneous calls.

Pro is $100/month with 20,000+ credits, frontier-model access, priority processing, 20 scheduled tasks, one month of visible call/email history and up to ten simultaneous 60-minute calls. Max is $200/month with 40,000+ credits, 50 scheduled tasks, three months of visible history and up to twenty concurrent calls with unlimited length. Annual billing provides twelve months for the price of ten.

Credits pay for replies, calls, tools, scheduled tasks and media. Paid users can add wallet credits or opt into pay-as-you-go; Free pauses rather than generating an unexpected bill.

Evidence & trust

The reviewed source set produced no substantive exact-product editorial review, benchmark or mature user-review corpus for Zinley. That keeps confidence low even though the current product documentation is unusually detailed.

Product Hunt confirms an August 2, 2026 launch that ranked #1 Product of the Day. The launch discussion is useful because the maker directly addresses failure behavior: when the agent does not know something mid-call, it is intended to defer and create an open item rather than improvise facts. That is the correct design principle for a representative, but it is still maker-described behavior rather than independent reliability measurement.

An August external overview from LeaveIt2AI documents the same core surface—own phone/inbox/computer, encrypted memory and action logs—but provides no user rating or independent benchmark. Current external evidence therefore validates product existence and intended workflows more than actual success rates.

The risk profile is higher than for a normal assistant because Zinley communicates with third parties and can act on the user's behalf. Approval gates, identity disclosure and action receipts are meaningful mitigations, but buyers should start with narrow permissions and reversible tasks until trust is earned empirically.

Who it's for

Zinley is best for founders, consultants and other professionals whose bottleneck is not drafting text but handling calls, email, scheduling, follow-up and cross-device tasks. It is less suitable for users who do not want an AI speaking externally in their name or who require independently demonstrated reliability before delegating consequential communication.

Strengths & weaknesses

Strengths

  • Own email/phone identity and persistent agent memory.
  • Real-world calling, email and computer-action surface.
  • Clear AI-identification and owner-approval model.
  • Explicit verification gate for sensitive actions.
  • Cross-device and multi-channel access.
  • Transparent free-to-Max pricing and credit limits.
  • Free tier is unusually capable.

Weaknesses

  • No substantive independent exact-product coverage.
  • No mature user-review or benchmark corpus.
  • Consequential external communication raises the cost of errors.
  • Model routing makes exact behavior less reproducible across tasks.
  • Credit usage can become difficult to predict for call/tool-heavy workloads.
  • Phone and device capabilities vary materially by plan.
