Shadow is a macOS-native AI coworker for sales calls. It is designed to help during a meeting as well as after it: the current product describes contextual live assistance, agenda and coverage tracking, post-call summaries and follow-up drafting, plus actions through connected work tools.1
The product is the same canonical Shadow that launched in March 2026 and was updated as Shadow 2.0 in May; 2.0 is not a separate product.2 Shadow's current positioning has moved beyond passive transcription toward live sales assistance and execution.
Current integrations listed on the product surface include Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, Linear, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar.1 The app works with common meeting platforms through native computer audio rather than depending on a single conferencing platform. The site says it supports more than 60 languages for live meeting workflows.1
The July 11 release materially broadened the current product: Ask Shadow became the conversational home, morning briefs and pre/post-meeting briefs moved into the same thread, users gained a visual agent builder, Salesforce became two-way, and outbound email/Slack/CRM actions were placed behind approval.3 This makes the current surface broader than the original Shadow 2.0 launch description and more specifically sales-oriented.
Several promoted management and enterprise features are not current capabilities. The homepage marks manager digests, broader deal-risk/coaching intelligence and enterprise controls such as SSO/SAML, RBAC, audit logs, PII redaction and retention policies as roadmap items.1 Buyers should distinguish those future capabilities from the product available today.
