Flow Free $0 with Notetaker, speaker identification, meeting Q&A and MCP access subject to weekly meeting limits; Flow Pro $15/user/month or $144/year ($12/month annual equivalent) with higher meeting limits and longer retention; Enterprise custom.
Wispr Flow Notetaker is a bot-free meeting recorder built into Wispr Flow. It captures microphone and system audio on the user's computer rather than adding a participant bot.12 The current production surface runs on Mac and Windows. A live transcript is available during meetings, followed by a refined transcript with speaker names after processing.
Notetaker supports meeting summaries, catch-up, questions across meeting history and downstream use of meeting context through MCP-compatible AI tools. Current integrations include Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, with calendar support including Google Calendar and Outlook.3 Otter history can be imported on supported Personal and Pro configurations.
Transcription now supports 21 languages. This materially broadens the product beyond its original English-only launch state. Mobile remains a developing surface rather than the general Notetaker production target.
Pricing & access
Flow Free includes Notetaker, speaker identification, meeting Q&A and AI-tool access. Pro is $15 per user monthly or $12 per user monthly when billed annually, with higher meeting allowances and longer retention.4 Public plan descriptions still do not provide a single simple numeric Free meeting allowance.
Evidence & trust
Evidence & reliability
The product launched in August 2026 and remains young. Current first-party documentation is substantially more complete than at launch, including detailed privacy/security and live-transcript documentation.
Exact-product user evidence now exists but is still limited. Current reports describe a material diarization failure mode: two different participants can be merged into the same speaker cluster, and renaming the cluster does not separate their statements. This can propagate incorrect attribution into summaries. That evidence warrants a reliability penalty even though it is not a controlled benchmark.
The large rating corpus for the adjacent Wispr Flow dictation app remains excluded from Notetaker scoring because it measures a different product surface.5 No AiToolMap hands-on meeting test or independent controlled Notetaker accuracy benchmark was available for this review.
Privacy & trust
Notetaker captures microphone and system audio locally and streams audio to Wispr servers for transcription. Wispr documents temporary audio handling, deletion controls, no voiceprint creation and model-training controls. MCP access to meeting context is read-only. Users and organizations remain responsible for obtaining legally required recording consent.
Who it's for
Notetaker is strongest for Mac and Windows professionals who want meeting capture without a visible bot and who value turning meeting history into reusable context for AI workflows. Existing Wispr Flow users additionally benefit from shared terminology and account context.
It is a weaker fit where speaker attribution must be highly dependable without manual verification, where offline processing is required, or where mobile-first capture is essential.
