AI operating system for wholesale distributors, using a shared business model to support agents for inventory planning, customer service and order processing.
Whitespace is an AI operating system for wholesale distributors built around a shared model of a customer's business. It connects data from ERP, CRM, inbox and spreadsheet systems and uses that context across several agents rather than treating inventory, customer service and order processing as isolated automations.1
The current product surface includes demand forecasting and reorder suggestions, customer-service monitoring and draft replies, order-processing workflows, and natural-language analysis over operational data. Whitespace also describes a feedback loop in which business rules and corrections become part of its shared “brain,” so later workflows can reuse the same organizational context.1 The concept is well matched to distribution businesses with fragmented systems, but the public evidence does not independently establish the accuracy of those forecasts, replies or actions.
Pricing & access
Whitespace does not publish fixed plan prices. Its FAQ says pricing depends on usage volume and the workflows being automated, with prospective customers directed to book a call.1 That is common for enterprise software with implementation work, but it makes value-for-money comparison difficult before procurement begins.
The company says setup typically takes two to four weeks and lists integrations including SAP, NetSuite, Epicor, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Salesforce, HubSpot, QuickBooks, Acumatica and Outlook.1 The integration breadth is useful, although public documentation does not expose a self-serve API surface or enough technical detail to assume every listed system has identical integration depth.
Evidence & trust
Y Combinator lists Whitespace as an active Summer 2026 company building AI agents for wholesale distribution and describes the same inventory, customer-service and order-processing focus.2 That supports company and product identity, not the vendor's performance claims. Figures on Whitespace's site such as time saved on reordering, query automation, faster analysis or three-month payback are therefore treated as marketing claims unless independently reproduced.1
The privacy notice says Whitespace processes customer business records such as orders, invoices and contacts on the customer's behalf and under its instructions. Primary customer-data storage is hosted in the EU, while specific functions including AI inference, authentication and analytics may use subprocessors in other jurisdictions including the United States.3 The Terms say customers retain ownership of submitted content and grant Whitespace only the limited license needed to provide the service, with customer content treated as confidential subject to the Privacy Policy and legal requirements.4
Those are useful contractual disclosures, but they do not replace a security assessment for a particular deployment. Customer records can include commercially sensitive and personal information, so buyers should evaluate subprocessor, access, retention and integration controls before connecting production ERP or communications data. The fixed AiToolMap source panel did not surface a current exact-product independent review or rating that could validate production quality.
Who it's for
Whitespace is most relevant to wholesale distributors whose staff repeatedly move between ERP, CRM, email and spreadsheets to plan inventory, answer customer questions, process orders or investigate operational issues. Its value proposition is strongest where those workflows share the same customer, supplier, inventory and order context.1
It is less suitable for teams that need transparent self-serve pricing, a mature independent reliability record, or a lightweight standalone assistant with little systems integration. Organizations with strict data-residency or processor requirements should also review the cross-border subprocessor model before deployment.3
Strengths & weaknesses
Strengths
a narrow vertical focus; a shared business model across multiple workflows; broad named ERP/CRM/email integrations; explicit human oversight in customer-service drafting; and privacy/Terms pages that separate customer ownership from service processing.134
Weaknesses
public pricing is opaque, setup is implementation-led, the company is new, and independent evidence on production performance is minimal. The strongest ROI and efficiency figures are vendor claims, not external benchmarks, and connecting the product to orders, invoices, contacts and communications creates meaningful data-governance requirements.13
