Wizideo review

Updated 2026-08-28

Product & capabilities

Wizideo is an AI meeting assistant built around a capture-to-action workflow. It transcribes meetings, identifies speakers, generates summaries, decisions and action items, then pushes that information into team tools rather than leaving it as a static meeting note.

Current first-party pages advertise transcription in more than 100 languages, automatic language detection, speaker recognition and a claimed 95% transcription accuracy. That figure is a vendor claim rather than an independently reproduced benchmark, so it is useful for positioning but not treated as measured review evidence.

The product supports multiple capture modes. Its Chrome extension targets Google Meet-style browser capture, while the native Windows/macOS application records system audio and microphone without joining calls as a visible bot. The desktop page says it can capture Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Webex, Slack huddles, in-person audio and phone calls. Uploaded MP3/MP4/WAV files are also supported.

Wizideo's more differentiated layer is organizational memory and follow-up automation. MemoryChat/Wizi can answer questions across prior meetings and return answers tied to moments in the source transcript. Topics group recurring meeting series, while Task Copilot extracts commitments and can assign them to owners. Wizi flows can route summaries, tasks and alerts into tools such as Slack, Notion, Google Drive, Gmail, Trello, Linear and other connected systems. 123

Pricing & access

Current first-party pricing is unusually clear. Free includes 300 transcription minutes, limited AI summaries, task detection, 100+ languages, real-time notes, cross-meeting search, Wizi, file upload, desktop apps and the Chrome extension.

Pro is $10 per seat per month monthly or $7 per seat per month when billed annually. It includes unlimited transcription and summaries, 2 GB storage per seat, transcript/summary/recording downloads, 400 AI credits, automations, integrations and team management.

Business is $29 per seat per month monthly or $19 annualized. It adds unlimited storage, Memory AI search, Task Assistant and 1,000 AI credits. Enterprise is custom and advertises dedicated success management, private-cloud/on-premise options and custom retention/redaction.

These prices compare favorably with many meeting assistants, especially given the workflow automation included. But value depends on actual transcription and extraction accuracy: low seat cost does not compensate for unreliable minutes or incorrect assigned actions. 4

Evidence & trust

Wizideo's first-party evidence is detailed but self-referential. Product pages describe encryption at rest with AES-256, TLS in transit, GDPR compliance and EU data-residency options. The homepage also displays a 4.8/5 rating, but the public page does not establish a transparent independent sample behind that number, so the figure is not strong independent evidence.

The Chrome Web Store confirms an exact Wizideo extension published by the owner of wizideo.ai and currently shows 5.0 from one rating. A single rating cannot support product-quality scoring, but it does corroborate that the extension is live and tied to the official product.

Independent exact-product evidence remains sparse: no meaningful G2, Capterra, TrustRadius, mainstream editorial or benchmark corpus was found, and searches often surface established competitors or unrelated similarly named products. Those are not used as proxy evidence.

A further caution is that much of Wizideo's public editorial content is produced by Wizideo itself, including comparisons of meeting-assistant alternatives. Such material is useful for product documentation and market framing, but it is not independent comparative evidence.

The resulting independent evidence base is too thin to support a strong conclusion about product-wide quality. 56

Who it's for

Wizideo is best suited to teams that want meetings to become operational data rather than archived recordings. Sales, product, customer success, operations, engineering and leadership teams can benefit when decisions and commitments need to be searchable later and automatically routed into downstream systems.

No-bot desktop capture is especially useful for teams that dislike meeting assistants appearing as extra participants. The multilingual positioning also makes Wizideo potentially attractive to distributed European and international teams.

It is less suitable for buyers who require a mature independent review corpus, externally verified transcription benchmarks or formal third-party security certifications before adoption. Teams should pilot the product on their own accents, call platforms and meeting types before relying on automated tasks or decisions.

Strengths & weaknesses

Strengths

  • Transcription, summaries, decisions and task extraction in one workflow.
  • Cross-meeting semantic memory and source-linked answers.
  • No-bot desktop capture plus browser extension and file upload.
  • Automation layer that routes outcomes into team tools.
  • 100+ language positioning and speaker identification.
  • Competitive Free/Pro/Business pricing.
  • Enterprise options for private cloud/on-premise and retention controls.

Weaknesses

  • Almost all substantive quality claims are first-party.
  • No meaningful independent review corpus.
  • Homepage 4.8/5 rating lacks a transparent external audited sample.
  • Chrome Store evidence is only one rating.
  • Claimed 95% transcription accuracy is not independently benchmarked here.
  • Automated action assignment can create downstream errors if extraction is wrong, so human verification remains important.

Wispr Flow Notetaker is a capable bot-free meeting assistant now available on Mac and Windows, with live transcription, speaker-labelled refined transcripts, cross-meeting Q&A and read-only MCP access to downstream AI tools. Its free tier is meaningful and Pro remains competitively priced, but the product is still young and current exact-product user reports show material speaker-merging/diarization errors that can misattribute statements.
